Due to League City’s recent conversion to a new utility billing software system, the City’s processes and timeline for billing customers is off schedule. In order to resume a regular billing schedule, the
majority of League City utility customers will be receiving two water bills with
due dates in July.
The first bill is for water used during a 30 day period in
March/April 2019 and the second bill is for water usage during a 30 day period
in April/May 2019.
We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this
software conversion has caused our residents.
In response, we have suspended all late penalty fees and no
service will be shut off for non-payment.
Customers set up for automated bank draft payments, will
have two bank drafts in July.
If you do NOT want or cannot accommodate two bank draft
payments in July, please contact the League City Utility Billing Department at
281-554-1335, option #2 to set up a payment plan or another payment option.
Customers can pay their water bill in the following ways:
1. Make a one-time
credit/bank card payment by logging into the Citizen
Self-Service Portal. This portal is relatively new
(March 2019). If you have not done so already, you will need to create an
account using your new account number and new customer ID/CID number found on
your most recent water bill, along with a new user-name and password.
2. Make a credit/bank
card payment over the phone by calling 281-554-1335, option #1 (hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to noon).
3. Pay by check, cash, or
credit/bank card in person at the cashier’s window located on the first floor
of City Hall (300 W. Walker Street) or the drive through window located at the
west side of City Hall (hours of operation
are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to
