The Texas Recreation and Park Society has selected League City as the recipient of the Texas Recreation and Park Society’s (TRAPS) 2020 Gold Medal Award, Class II. The award honors a parks and recreation department for excellence in the field of recreation and park management for three years (2016-2018). Class II represents all cities in Texas with a population between 75,001-200,000.

League City Parks and Recreation staff members will accept the award at the TRAPS state conference in Galveston on February 27, 2020.
