[ARCHIVED] Building Department Meet and Greet

The Building Department will host the first in the series of a new initiative, a “Breakfast Meet and Greet,” on Friday, February 28, for the building trades, and Friday, March 6, for developers and builders. These will occur from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and are designed to create a forum where information can be exchanged to help ensure communication between the industry and the staff.

Meetings are expected to be held quarterly as staff develops the program and members of the department will be asked to participate as needed to answer questions from attendees. The Meet and Greets are part of City Manager John Baumgartner’s priority for the city to be more proactive in dealing with questions and concerns that may arise during the building and permitting process.
