League City residents should plan ahead for traffic delays due to construction at I-45 and
Calder Road the weekend of Aug 7th through the 9th. Residents should also be aware
there will be no crossing of I-45 at Calder Road until Thursday, August 13th due to
construction.
Friday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m. TXDOT will close the Calder Road Bridge for
demolition.
Friday, August 7th at 9:00 p.m. the northbound main lanes of I-45 will be closed and
traffic will be detoured onto the northbound feeder road.
Saturday, August 8th at 6:00 a.m. the southbound frontage road will be closed and traffic
will be detoured.
Saturday, August 8th, at 7:00 a.m. the southbound main lanes of I-45 will be closed and
traffic will be detoured onto the southbound feeder.
During this process League City Parkway [SH 96] east and west traffic will be detoured
to FM 518 and FM 646.
Thursday August 13th League City Parkway [SH96] will be opened for “at grade”
crossing under I-45.
