  1. City Hall Closes at Noon July 3 for Independance Day

    July 3, 12:00 PM - July 4, 6:00 PM

    City Hall will be close July 3 at noon and close all day July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

  2. Library Closed for Independence Day

    July 4 - July 6

    Helen Hall Library will be open on Friday, July 3 until 6pm. July 4th and July 5th, Library is closed all day. July 6th, Library will reopen at regular time, 10:00 am.

  3. No Trash Service July 4

    July 4, All Day

    There will be no trash service on July 4th. Residents with Tuesday/Friday Service will not have trash service until the following Tuesday.

  4. Citizen Appreciation Day

    July 4, 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM @ League Park

    The City of League City will hold the annual July 4th celebration on Friday, July 4, from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at League Park at 200 N. Park St. City Council, the Parks Board and City staff will be serving refreshments in appreciation of the citizens of League City. There will be live music performed by The Symphonic Winds of League City, directed by Duane Dippel and The Relics will perform as well. The City will serve more than 4,000 hotdogs, snow cones, cotton candy and nachos. This year the City will have a celebrity guest. Chef Sarah Penrod, a contestant on Food Network Star, will do a cooking demonstration and sign autographs. Chef Sarah is a League City resident and former chef to Tony Parker and Eva Longoria. She’s competing on the Food Network reality show which airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. “This is a great event for the entire family,” said Director of Parks Chien Wei. “Bring your patriotic spirit and enjoy the free food, entertainment and fun.”
