How Do I Get To…
City Pool - Located at 450 West Walker. Private parties are available at the Municipal Pool during designated times. Fee is Residents $50 and Non-Residents $100 for two hours, plus lifeguards (deposit is also required). For information about the pool call the Parks Recreation Office at 281-554-1185.
Countryside Park - Located 3.5 miles West of I-45 and North of FM 518, at 100 Alderwood. Countryside can be reserved for company picnics, family gatherings, tournaments, and team practices. The park consists of two softball fields, one soccer/football field, sports pavilion (basketball, volleyball), numerous picnic areas and playgrounds along the nature/fitness trail. Countryside Park also has restrooms.
League Park - Located off FM 518 (Main St.) and Park Avenue, 1.5 miles East of I-45. League Park can be reserved for birthday parties, weddings, etc. With a turn of the century theme, League Park features a bandstand (gazebo), two basketball courts, picnic areas, benches, playground equipment, exercise stations, concession stand and restrooms.
Bayridge Park - Located off FM 1266 on Mariner Drive. It features a softball field, basketball court and a playground area.
Chester L. Davis Sportsplex - South on Highway 3 towards Dickinson, right on Highway 96, 1.5 miles West on the left side. Located at 1251 Highway 96 this sports complex can be utilized for football, soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball. This park features multi-use fields, three pavilions for organized sports, and two playgrounds.
Rustic Oaks Park - West on FM 518 (Main St.), 3 miles West of I-45, left on Bay Area Blvd., then left on Orange Blossom. This park features a small pavilion, volleyball court, tennis courts, practice field, fishing pond, trails, bird viewing areas, restrooms, and a playground.
Helen’s Garden - Located under the oaks on FM 518 at the corner of East Main Street and Kansas.
Newport Park - Located at 2398 Colonial Court. This park features a playground, picnic areas, and a basketball court.
Heritage Park - Located at 1220 Coryell. This new park features a playground, hike/bike trails, picnic areas, and restrooms.
The Dr. Ned and Fay Dudney Clear Creek Nature Center - Located off FM 270 at Clear Creek. This recently opened park offers numerous opportunities for those who love to experience nature. Walk along the nature trails and spend some quiet time at the bird viewing areas. You will see wildlife up close and personal.
Boat Ramp - Located under the FM 270 bridge at Clear Creek. This park has a boat ramp and large parking area.
Dick Benoit League City Prairie Preserve- 44 acre of undeveloped parkland off of State Highway 96
