Annual Stormwater Improvements

The project consists of proposed slope paving (concrete lining) improvements to the following drainage rights-of-way throughout the City:
  • Designed in FY2013:  Interurban and Nottingham (delayed due to USACOE permitting issues)
  • FY2016: Construction $440K and construction of Nottingham Ditch from Calder Road to the Interurban Ditch, a project length of 1400 feet      
  • FY2017: Design of Bradshaw Road, SW from SH3 to the north line of CCISD's Elementary School #25, a project length of 1,200 feet. 
  • FY2018: Construction of Interurban Ditch, north from FM 518, a project length of 1400 feet (Environmental $560K)
     Design of FM518-Myrtlewood ditch, a project length of 1400 feet.
  • FY2019: Design of Newport Ditch, north from FM518, a project length of 900 feet 
Project(s) identified in the LAN drainage study for the Historic District area is a separate project in the drainage program.
Other projects will be generated from the results of the Master Drainage Plan for FY2016 forward.

Why League City needs it?
To continuously upgrade the city's infrastructure as well as keeping in compliance with the Master Drainage Plan.
