New Water Wells

The FY2012-13 project consists of the design of a well at the South Shore Booster Station (east side), another at Calder Rd Booster Station (west side), and a well at the Eastside Elevated Site with one 0.5 MG ground storage tank.  


FY2014 project:  construction of project portion designed in FY2012, moved construction funds to booster station project for each location


FY2018-20:  This project also includes 1 water wells and 1 ground storage tank on 2-acres on the west side.   The project generally consists of the construction of 1 water wells, a 3,200 SF pre-engineered control and mechanical building, one 1 MG ground storage tanks, approximately 2,100 LF of yard piping, SCADA system, standby generator, two 125 HP and two 60 HP in-line booster pumps, and miscellaneous items such as site work, concrete drive and parking area, electrical and control wiring.  Tentative location is the Westwood Out Tract.

Why It's Needed
This project is necessary in order to provide the city with additional water supply.
