East Main LS Rehab Project
This project is established to address Lift Station Odor Control issues and Wet Well Rehab. For 2013, two lift stations have been identified as priority for rehab, the East Main Lift Station and MUD #6 Lift Station. SCADA is included to further strengthen sewer system overflow prevention.

The East Main Lift Station, which is located at 2651 FM 2094 (east side of Clear Creek Intermediate School near South Shore golf course) rehab will include:
  • Cementitious structural rehab
  • Associated by-passing
  • Corrosion barrier lining
  • A 12 inch discharge by-pass installation
  • Fencing
  • Site paving

The second part of this project is MUD #6 Lift Station rehabilitation. Included in the rehab are the upgrade of three existing submersible pumps, replacement of control panel, repair damages from unforeseen wet well sizing issues, repair damage from hydrogen sulfide, and general site improvements.

Why It's Needed
The East Main Lift Station has been identified as needing additional odor control measures. Additionally, during an emergency repair, it was identified that the East Main Lift Station needs repair and rehabilitation to the wet well due to hydrogen sulfide corrosion to the interior walls. The East Main Lift Station is one of the city's largest, serving a large portion of the city's east side service area.
