RUMOR: I heard it is illegal to operate an ATV in the City limits.

FACT:  To operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway, it has to be a registered vehicle with the State of Texas. If someone operates an ATV on a public roadway, they can be cited for that. There are areas in town that are wooded areas or more remote where ATVs could be driven. The only issue that may occur with that is issues with the property owner. There is not a public track where people can take ATVs to ride here in League City, but there is not an ordinance that states you cannot ride an ATV in League City.
