Biography
Chief Jez earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and received his Masters of Science degree from the University of North Texas. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management College of the Southwestern Law Enforcement Institute, Dallas, Texas, the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky and the FBI National Academy.
Chief Jez has an extensive law enforcement career that began in 1971. He began his career as a US Army Military Policeman and served in the Texas City, Alvin, Denton, and Webster Police. Chief Jez has also served as a consultant to law enforcement agencies, both nationally and internationally, on Community Policing and police management topics and currently teaches in the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.
He was appointed Police Chief in League City, Texas on November 19, 2007
