Community Programs
Community Involvement
The League City Police Department is involved in the community in many ways. Officers provide safety presentations to seniors, businesses, and youth groups including personal safety. Officers can be requested for speaking engagements including safety fairs and homeowners meetings.

Officers are often spotted at community events such as the Village Fair, local schools for career day, Holiday in the Park, and the Annual Holiday Parade. Officers coordinate the Citizens Police Academy, National Night Out, and Blue Santa Program.

Tours of the police department are offered and can be scheduled for various youth groups. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Officer Christy Galyean at 281-338-8201 or Officer Todd Young at 281-554-1848.

Annual Golf Tournament
Our Department hosts an annual golf tournament fundraiser. The money raised from this event allows us to provide community outreach services to the entire community.  We are able to provide additional services to local victims of child abuse / domestic violence, families displaced by fire or other exigent circumstances.  The funds also support the Blue Santa Program that provides Christmas to nominated and selected families. Funds will also be utilized for future program development and equipment.

This year the tournament will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at South Shore Harbor Golf Course in League City, Texas.
