Payment Options
Bank Draft
The city offers bank drafting for water bills, at no charge, to our customers.  Please complete the form and return to our office.  Bank Draft Form

Note:  All bank draft accounts will be drafted on the due date for the full payment due at time of the bill,  even if a payment is posted to the account prior to the due date. All drafts are processed (FTP) two working days prior to the due date per banking instructions to ensure the drafts are drafted on the due date.  With that, no changes can be performed for these drafts.

New Customers
A residential deposit of $100 will be billed to the customer’s first billing, unless one of the three alternative options is chosen and completed within the first ten days of start of service. 

In Person
Customers can also make payments in person with a city cashier at the following locations:
  • Drive-thru is available during working hours (Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday: 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
  • Payment box – (Night box):  Place the payment (checks or money orders only) in the silver drop box marked “City of League City Utility Payments” (green sign) located in the center of the parking lot between the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center and City Hall.  Please note other drop boxes are located at the same location:  FedEx (white drop box) and a U.S. Postal mailbox (blue drop box)
  • Inside of city hall, 300 West Walker during working hours.

Online Pay and / or View
Please go to our Pay Online Menu . The city accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

The city offers a recurring charge payment option with your credit card.  With no fees, your monthly water bill can be paid automatically with your credit card.  If your credit card is denied for payment on the due date, our system will automatically email this message with your account number:

We recently processed the request
Recurring credit card draft has been successfully disabled for the utility account
(your account number)

At which, please pay your current balance (due that day), note your payment receipt number, and click return. 

Then, set up your new credit card for future monthly payments.

Note:  If your account is subject to disconnection for non-payment today, do not pay online; all fees are applicable; please call the cashiers at (281) 554-1357.
