Honor Guard
Honor Guard

The esteemed men and women of this ceremonial unit represent the Department's respect for, and dedication to, fallen officers and their families who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.  This highly trained team renders honors, instills pride, and preserves departmental traditions through their participation in ceremonial events.  Our Honor Guard Team serves at the direction of the Chief of Police.

Honor Guard events include:

  • Funerals for fallen officers
  • Funerals for retired police personnel
  • Presentation of colors
  • Parades
  • Educational events

This well-regarded team works closely with the League City Volunteer Fire Department Honor Guard Team and is frequently asked to assist with other local police agency Honor Guard Team functions.

Questions and requests for participation should be directed to Honor Guard Coordinator Lieutenant Lee.
