Camp by the Creek Information (Summer 2021)

Spend your summer with us! Our energetic and talented camp staff entertains the campers with different programs, arts and crafts, games, field trips, and outdoor activities. Camp by the Creek continues to remain one of our most popular programs. The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to provide quality programming, while continually promoting a positive environment.

Session dates and themes will be posted by February/March 2021.

Counselor-In-Training Program (CIT)

Due to popular demand, the City will be making some changes to the CIT program to accommodate more youth interested in participating in this volunteer experience. CITs will submit an application with their preferred session dates. All applications will be reviewed, and CITs will be selected based on an interview and past experience. We will do everything we can to give CITs their top preference, but we can’t make any guarantees. Up to twelve CITs will be selected per session. The CIT program will also include a separate field trip this year for just the CITs as part of a bonding and teambuilding program. Notification will be made by May 1st.

CIT Applications will be posted in March 2021.
