League City is proud to partner with the Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre (BAHBT) to host a series of The Nutcracker-themed events this holiday season.
Despite the cancellation of the popular holiday tradition by ballet companies in cities across the U.S.— including Houston—BAHBT’s performance of The Nutcracker ballet is happening this holiday season, as will the 30th annual Sugar Plum Weekend from November 20-22 at the South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center.
In addition, characters from The Nutcracker will lead a series of ballet and sword building classes for children on November 28 and December 19 at the newly renovated League Park.
Starting December 2, BAHBT will perform The Nutcracker at the Bayou Theater located on the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus. Performances are December 2-6 and December 11-13. Tickets go on sale November 1.
