The City of League City is seeking public input on the proposed Downtown Revitalization Plan.
The first of two public meetings is set for June 15, 6 p.m., at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center (400 W. Walker St., League City, Texas 77573).
The proposal – featuring illustrated design concepts, renderings of a revitalized Downtown, and other unique amenities – was presented to City Council and the public on May 10 to address one of the key initiatives identified in the City’s ‘Roadmap to the Future.’
League City officials invite the community to participate and provide input in further developing the plans to revitalize and preserve the heart of League City.
City representatives and the City’s engineering and landscaping design professionals, Huitt-Zollars, Inc., and, Clark Condon Associates, will be on hand to answer questions, concerns and gather feedback during the meeting.
The presentation, City Council meeting recording, renderings, and engineering contract are available for viewing at www.leaguecity.com/downtown.
Public input may also be submitted to the City’s Planning Department at paul.menzies@leaguecity.com or (281) 554-1000.
