National Night Out (NNO) for League City residents is set for Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Events registered with the League City Police Department will be visited by teams of local emergency personnel and city dignitaries. These teams will interact with residents and be available for questions.
NNO is a community-building campaign started by the National Association of Town Watch that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.
NNO is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for (and participation in) local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and establish police-community partnerships.
