The League City council chambers are currently undergoing a major renovation. The buiding, which also serves as the City’s municipal courtroom, is undergoing a revamp that will upgrade the main chamber, lobby, and restrooms, and add new IT and video streaming equipment. New video walls will be placed along with new screens, which will allow members of the public in council to see presentations more clearly. The tentative completion date for the project is April, weather permitting. In the meantime, public meetings and court hearings are being held at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center at 400 W. Walker Street.
