Summer is almost here, which mean fun activities are right around the corner! Registration is now open for various summer programs, sports and camps with the League City Parks and Recreation Department. Programming includes karate, fencing, swim lessons, basketball, cheer, computer coding and more. Registration is also open for Camp by the Creek, which will be offered in different sessions throughout the season.
To check out a list of available programming for youth and adults, download the latest Beyond the Oaks Brochure, which also includes upcoming events. Hard copies can also be picked up at City Hall, Hometown Heroes Park and the Helen Hall Library.
Registration can be done online on the Parks and Recreation website or in person at Hometown Heroes Park. If registering online, make sure you can log into your account before registration starts. Accounts created online can take up to 72 hours to be approved. League City residents will have to email a copy of their water bill to Katrina Hersh at firstname.lastname@example.org before the account will be approved.
