League City will be hosting a workshop and public meeting in June to discuss drainage projects.
Lower Clear Creek and Dickinson Bayou Study Workshop
On Tuesday, June 22 at 5 p.m., a public workshop will be held before the League City Council meeting to discuss the results and next steps for the Lower Clear Creek and Dickinson Bayou Study.
Representatives with Freese and Nichols, an engineering, planning and consulting firm, will be making a presentation. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the study. For more information about the Lower Clear Creek and Dickinson Bayou Study, click here.
Master Drainage Plan Public Meeting
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. The meeting includes a presentation of a high-level Master Drainage Plan for the City that identifies strategies for mitigation of flooding problems and addresses improved drainage infrastructure required for future development. This project was partially funded by a grant through the Texas Hazard Mitigation Grant Program as well as the 2019 Bond Program.
