[ARCHIVED] Hydrant Flushing to Improve Water Quality

WQ Flushing

Our Water Production Department is currently performing an aggressive city-wide hydrant flushing activity to address water quality issues. Some residents have reported minor dis-coloration and odor in outlying service areas. These are nuisance issues and does NOT mean our water is unsafe to drink. These conditions are common during prolonged periods of above average rain fall and hot summer temperatures. Flushing displaces nuisance water with improved water conditions.

Contact the City’s Water Production Department at 281-554-1041 for any comments or concerns on water quality.
