Have you ever wondered how the City’s budget is determined? While the new fiscal year doesn’t begin until October 1, the City’s annual budget begins about seven months earlier. The process includes months of meetings and revisions before the budget is finally approved by City Council. Changes can even be made to the proposed budget after the workshops if Council requests them.
All workshops are open to the public and will be held at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center at 6 p.m. See the dates below to learn when specific budget and CIP items will be discussed.
