Virtual or In-Person Workforce Solutions offers free job search seminars for individuals who would like to learn how to look for a job, write or revise a resume, interview and network, or use their job skills and experience in a new and different way. January 13: A Targeted Plan January 27: Job Readiness Toolkit February 10: Sharpening Your Interview Skills Focus on the interview process. Use the employer’s perspective to determine proper interview attire. Prepare answers to common interview questions February 24: Closing the Deal Registration begins one week in advance of class schedule date. To register, come by the reference desk on the 2nd floor, or call 281-554-1101. Walk-ins will be seated if seats are available at the time of the start of class. Class is limited to 6 participants.

Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Adults of all levels who would like to practice their English conversation skills are welcome to join us at the library each Monday night and Wednesday morning. Note: All of our in-person programs will require that participants wear masks and that there be space of at least 6 feet between attendees.

From 1 to 3 p.m., in the Library Theater. Those who enjoy knitting, crocheting and needlework are welcome to come to the library and join this group, which meets every other Wednesday. Please contact Darla Rance for information.
